Drake Bank opened its doors to the community in May 2002 and was the first new Bank chartered in St. Paul in 40 years. After recognizing the void of personal service and local support, local investors and bankers founded Drake Bank to help others succeed in their financial journeys.
The Bank’s home is the renovated Drake Building that can be seen in the skyline along Plato Blvd with its bright yellow ‘DRAKE’ sign lighting the skies at night. The building was originally constructed in the early 1900s to serve as a marble cutting and polishing plant for the Drake Marble and Tile Company.
