St. Paul, Minn. | April 4, 2024 – Drake Bank welcomes Jeff (Jeffrey) Weldon to the senior management team as senior vice president, chief financial officer. With over 25 years of banking experience, Weldon’s innovation and leadership will assist the Bank in achieving the next level of success and growth. Weldon’s results-oriented experience includes helping financial institutions improve efficiency, develop strategic financial plans, and manage cash flow. Weldon previously served as controller at Source One Financial Services, chief financial officer at 21st Century Bank in Burnsville and United Prairie Bank in Mankato.

As chief financial officer, Weldon will provide dynamic leadership of all financial accounting and investment functions for the Bank and its holding company, Plato Holdings, Inc. Weldon will also serve as chair of the Bank’s Funds Management Committee and co-chair of the Bank’s Asset Liability Committee. Additionally, Weldon will partner with the senior management team to develop strategies for maximizing profitability and other strategic business planning initiatives.
