Drake Bank is seeking an experienced Credit Analyst to join our team. Located in St. Paul, we are a growing community bank focused on helping small businesses in the Twin Cities grow and prosper.
Summary: Provides credit analysis assistance to lenders. Monitors incoming financial statements. Performs collateral audits, accounts receivable analysis and borrowing base certificate reviews. Develops and maintains knowledge of loan related regulatory and internal procedural compliance issues. Performs all job responsibilities according to compliance requirements.
•Spreads financial statements as requested to provide overall support and assistance to Lenders in the financial analysis process.
•Reviews incoming financial statements. Updates and/or completes financial spreads and covenant monitoring worksheets to be forwarded to the appropriate Lender.
•Completes an analysis of Accounts Receivable Aging and Borrowing Base Certificates received from borrowers. Forwards report to Lenders for review and sign off.
•Provides written financial statement analysis for credit presentations, file comments and annual reviews. Maintains the report of review due and works with lenders to keep comments current.
•Monitors and reports on specialized portfolios.
•Performs an annual review of the SBA loan portfolio. Reports findings to the appropriate lenders.
Education and Experience: College degree or equivalent experience, with emphasis in Business Administration/Accounting or Finance.
Previous concentrated credit training. 2 – 5 years credit analyst experience, desired.

Drake Bank, a highly successful community bank located in Saint Paul, is searching for an individual to join our team as an experience Business Banker. The right individual for this position will have business lending experience and display strong sales, customer service skills, and will enjoy working side-by-side with our team of experienced lenders in a community bank environment.
Essential Responsibilities: • Independently and collectively calling on companies and centers of influence to identify prospects and converting prospects into clients. • Initiate sales and cross-sell a full range of banking services to potential customers. • Proactively market clients and prospects; represent Drake Bank in the local banking and business communities and develop a network of referral sources. • Develop and manage commercial relationships to include all types of business banking and deposit products and services and maximize long-term customer satisfaction. • Meet with customers to establish financial needs emphasizing community banking products and refer processes requests to bank management. • Analyze credit and financial information for customers. Present credit packages to management. Demonstrate sound judgment in decision making, abiding appropriately to established guidelines and procedures. • Respond to and resolve customer service requests according to Drake Bank’s policies in a prompt, efficient and courteous manner.
Skills/Experience: • Minimum of 5 years of commercial loan underwriting experience. • Strong communication, organizational, sales and service skills are required. • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or other business-related study. • Training and experience in structuring loans, identifying credit risk and presenting credit proposals to bank management • Thorough knowledge of bank products and services • Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups in managing customer relationships • Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
